MOBILITY 2: Aspects of Teaching English. Brighton, the UK. Laura Borràs. Day 1

As a way of introduction, discussion revolves around the following questions:

What is the most important characteristic a good teacher should have?

How has teaching changed since you started teaching?

How do your students feel about learning English?

What type of activities seems to be the most effective?

How do you deal with different levels in the classroom?

What are the biggest challenges facing your school (or your country's education system at the moment)?

Students who have enrolled different courses (Aspects of Teaching English, Language, Methodology and Culture, English in the Primary Classroom, Content and Language Integrated Learning, Teaching Business English and Teaching English with Technology) get to share ideas and experiences. We are introduced to th programme of the course and the topics we'll deal with.
